I heard the words "I'm so glad you're doing this" many times on a recent Saturday at the IamExpat Fair in Berlin. Over the course of the day, 40 to 50 women stopped by to talk about perimenopause. Not just briefly, but really talk about it. They shared their struggles, their confusion, and their search for trustworthy information.
Many expressed how different the German healthcare system feels compared to what they grew up with. The absence of the paper gown was mentioned - who knew we all found it so reassuring?
Women said they missed having their moms, sisters, and friends who knew them best nearby to share these experiences. My workshop, An Expat's Guide to Perimenopause, was full of engaged, curious women asking thoughtful questions. It was inspiring to see so many women in their 30s getting informed early.
In response to what I heard that day, I've launched a group coaching program designed specifically for English-speaking women in perimenopause.
Finding Support Through Group Coaching
I created a group coaching program tailored for English-speaking women in Germany. Here’s what participants can expect:
Community and expert support: Up to 8 women to ensure personalized attention. You will have the support of a certified Perimenopause Coach and 7 women who know exactly what you are going through.
Practical skills: Gain tools to communicate effectively with doctors and manage symptoms.
Evidence-based advice: Learn what the research says about what treatments and lifestyle changes can get you feeling like yourself again...maybe even better!
The program starts on June 19th, and spots are limited to keep the group intimate and supportive.
