What does Perimenopause Coaching look like with me?

It's not an appointment with your doctor. It's not random information from the internet. It's a plan built around you, your symptoms and your goals.

If you've landed here, you're probably somewhere in that exhausting in-between: you know something is off. Your sleep, your mood, your weight, your energy but you're not getting clear answers.

Maybe your doctor ran blood tests and said everything looks "normal." Maybe you've been told you're too young. Maybe you've been Googling at 3am and you're more confused than ever.

I am on a mission to help every woman in perimenopause get the care they deserve.
I am on a mission to help every woman in perimenopause get the care they deserve.

I've been there. And it's exactly why I became a certified Perimenopause Coach. My name is Kristyn Zalota, and I support English-speaking women navigating perimenopause. Here's exactly what working with me looks like.

My Story — and Why It Matters to Yours

At 41, I was experiencing perimenopause symptoms but it was 2014. Noone was using the word perimenopause. I was repeatedly told "it's too early" for menopause.

Over several years, I underwent unnecessary tests, including an MRI because I thought something was wrong with my brain, and treatments, like the birth control pill and an anti-depressant. It wasn't until five years later, when I was in menopause (12 consecutive months no period) that I was prescribed hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

WhenI didn't know what was happening to me, I was scared. I don't want other women to go through that. It's my mission to demystify menopause and ensure every woman is heard, empowered, and supported. As an expat myself, I also understand the added challenges of navigating healthcare systems in a different language and culture.

You are not alone — and you don't have to figure this out by yourself.

This Is Different From What You've Tried Before

Coaching with me is not like talking to a family member or friend, where you feel you need to reciprocate. It's also not like a rushed GP appointment where you have a few minutes and leave with more questions than answers.

What coaching is not

  • A quick 10-minute consultation

  • Generic, one-size-fits-all advice

  • Selling you products or supplements

  • Guesswork or wellness trends

  • Replacing your doctor

What coaching with me is

  • Personalised to your symptoms and goals

  • Enough time to be truly heard in a non-judgemental way

  • Evidence-based, always

  • A co-created, realistic plan that works for your life and preference

  • The opportunity to become an expert on your own body

  • Methods to communicate better with your doctor

  • Ongoing accountability and support

  • Access to a community of women like you

Our sessions are exclusively about your symptoms, your feelings, your goals, and your desires. I take the time to truly get to know you and together we craft a plan that is realistic and impactful for your actual life.

What We Cover Together

Here's a summary of what we work through in a coaching programme. Every session builds on the last, and everything is tailored to what you need most.

  • Before your first session, you'll complete a wellness questionnaire that I review in depth. I will already understand your symptom profile and goals before we even meet.

  • In our first session, we explore what is happening in your body from a physiological standpoint. So many symptoms that feel weird or frightening are directly linked to hormonal fluctuations. Understanding this is profoundly reassuring.

  • Over the course of our sessions, we will discuss nutrition, stress management, and sleep strategies that are proven to help women in perimenopause and menopause.

  • You will be given the current scientific research on HRT (hormone replacement therapy), so you can make an informed decision that is right for you.

  • I work with you to prepare for medical appointments, including how to track and communicate your symptoms confidently to your doctor.

  • Together we build a personalised action plan aligned with your symptoms, your goals, and your values.

  • I provide accountability and coaching around any obstacles you face as you implement your plan and move towards your goals.

What I Will Never Compromise On

These are the principles at the heart of everything I do. When you work with me, you can count on this — in every session, without exception.

🤝Empathy. I provide a safe space where your symptoms and concerns are heard and validated.

🔬Evidence-Based. Everything I recommend is grounded in scientific research. No fads, no trends.

💪Empowering. I help you track and understand your symptoms and communicate them to doctors

🚫No Menowashing. I will not sell you supplements, products, or anything you don't need.
